TORO Mexican Kitchen is opening April 27th 2023 in the Pearl District.
PORTLAND, OR, April 26, 2023 — The Urban Restaurant Group opens TORO Mexican Kitchen in Portland’s Pearl District. Formerly occupied by Tilt, this new concept is one of the area’s newest and brightest dining spots and represents an exciting new chapter for the space.
Situated on the corner of 13th and Everett, the once dark eatery has been transformed into a light and airy dining haute with hand carved wood, greenery, inventive fixtures, and unique art. Two private dining areas are available for groups of 85+. Outdoor dining is also offered during the summer months.

TORO Mexican Kitchen offers a menu rich with authentic Mexican dishes and seasoned steaks, including New York Strip, Filet Mignon, Ribeye and Porterhouse. Cuts of meat are sourced locally from Double R Ranch in Washington State. The culinary duo behind this authentic menu, Chef Adrian Cervantes and Aaron Newton are native to Mexico and share a love of the culture and cuisine. Toro also offers creative cocktails, local and imported beer and local wines. Toro is open for dinner seven days a week and offers happy hour from 4 to 6 PM seven days a week.
